도심 속에서 시선으로 공간을 피워낸다. ‘보행자의 시선 변화가 그려내는 공간의 서사’는 도시를 걷는 이들의 무심한 시선에 건축적 리듬을 입혀, 감정과 지각의 흐름을 하나의 이야기로 엮는 공간 실험이다. 고정된 형태로 존재하는 건축이 아니라, 보는 이의 시선에 반응하며 그때마다 다르게 피어나는 서사적 장소로서의 건축을 제안하며, 프라이탁의 5단 구조를 바탕으로, Creature A부터 F까지의 건축적 개념으로 구성되어, 보행자의 움직임에 따라 시선과 감정의 곡선을 직조하고, 일상의 흐름 속에서 무심히 지나치던 도시의 틈을 감각적 경험의 무대로 전환시킨다.
In the city, I bloom space with my gaze. “The Spatial Narrative Drawn by the Pedestrian’s Changing Gaze” is a project that turns walking into a narrative experience. Based on Freytag’s five-act structure and six spatial concepts (Creature A–F), it transforms unnoticed urban gaps into emotional sequences, guided by the pedestrian’s shifting gaze. Each space responds subtly to movement and perception, creating a layered journey where architecture unfolds like a story—one that is written through the act of seeing.
Analysis
우리는 공간을 ‘경험’하고 있는가?
일반적으로 인간의 감각을 이야기할 때 시각은 우리의 오감 가운데 가장 우선되어진다. 그리고 우리는 이 시선과 함께 공간을 걷고, 바라보고, 해석하며 경험한다. 시선이 머무는 곳이 기억이 되고, 보행이 연결될 때 장소가 된다. 하지만 현대 사회는 점점 더 가속화된 도시 흐름 속에서 보행 경험을 축소하고 있으며, 빠른 속도의 교통수단과 네트워크로 연결된 공간들이 증가하면서 도시는 점점 목적 중심적인 경로로 구성된다.
Are we experiencing space?
Sight is our most dominant sense. We move through space by seeing, observing, and interpreting. Where the gaze stays, memory forms. When steps connect, place emerges. But in fast-paced cities, walking is often neglected. Urban spaces are built more for speed and function than for experience.

Concept
‘보행자의 시선 변화가 그려내는 공간의 서사’는 현대 도시 속 목적지만을 좇는 무감각한 보행자들, 즉 ‘눈을 감은 보행자’들에게 시선을 다시 열어주는 건축적 제안이다. 본 프로젝트는 정적인 건축이 아닌, 보행자의 시선과 움직임에 반응하는 ‘서사적 장소’로서의 건축을 추구한다. 그리고 이를 구현하는 장소가 바로 도시의 틈새에서 피어난 전시관이다. 도심 속 깊숙한 곳, 사람들의 일상적 동선 한가운데 위치한 이 전시관은 자연스러운 보행 흐름을 따라 시선을 이끌고, 건축을 장소로서, 다시 감각적으로 향유하는 경험을 제공한다.
“The Spatial Narrative Drawn by the Pedestrian’s Gaze” proposes architecture that reawakens the gaze of desensitized urban walkers. It becomes a narrative space—responsive to movement and sight. Set within a gap in the city, the exhibition space guides natural flows and restores a sensory experience of place.
Design Process
16가지의 공간요소들과 8가지의 조합방식, 건축 장치를 통해 8가지의 공간 개념인 Creature를 제작했다.

Space
미술관 ‘In Bloom’은 남쪽의 도심 속 틈으로 들어오며 여정이 시작된다. 도입부와 동시에 2층으로 올라가고 경사로를 따라 3층까지 전시가 이어진다. 이후 지상 3층에서 지하 1층까지 전시와 함께 내려온 후, 지하의 역동적인 공간을 마주하다 다시 올라오며 전시가 마무리된다.
The museum In Bloom begins in a hidden urban gap, guiding visitors up to the second and third floors, then gradually descending to a dynamic basement space before returning upward to complete the journey.
